  1. I can’t ‘like’ this. My heart hurts for this pilot and the people he served. I absolutely LOVE Grant. I prefer flying them over anyone else.

    • Thanks for the comment, Kris. We’ve had some great experiences with a variety of plane services in Alaska. Many of them, like Grant, have a strong sense of family and dedication to the communities they serve. It’s quite a contrast to the negative stories we frequently read about regarding air travel in other parts of the country.

      • I was trying to get out of Kenai to get to ANC at the last minute. Grant saved me. I wish I could have flown them with mum when we left ANC, but she was on oxygen and the whole thing was a bit messy. Ravn was amazing.

  2. Incredible work and Great Pictures i must say. I can understand how much efforts it would have required to capture shots like this. Appreciate your work and efforts. Even i started photographer when i was inspired by someone. Same i am doing for others. Inspiring them to be good photographers. You can have a look at my work at http://www.nitinkhanna.net/ and let me know about my work. I would love to hear back from you.

  3. A sad post but a fitting tribute to the brave pilot who died, as well as befitting words about all those whose service and dedication makes life possible in so many inhospitable or difficult terrains. Congratulations on some brilliant photography and a big thank you for sharing.
