I imagine preening and grooming would be especially important in freezing, wet weather. Great Wordsworth quote and nice to see him mentioned. Too often he appears to be overlooked and made fun of as a laughable old fellow wandering the lakes district whereas he was so much more! I think of him more as a nature poet but probably because l’m not really a romantic! Dangerous thing to admit on valentine’s day! Thanks as ever.
Hi Sally, I think a lot of people would be surprised to know the degree to which observations of nature are threaded through Wordsworth’s writing. (The junco shot actually came from Alberta this past summer.)
Thoughts with the lost crabbing vessel’s crew and loved ones. Crabs best left in ocean, especially at this time of year.
