A few posts back we published a photo-essay, The Very Cold Swim, in which one of our wild village foxes took an impromptu dunk when the shore ice between her and a salmon head gave way. The other day she posed for a series of portraits in lovely lighting. What a beauty!
What a superb coat she has and in lovely condition. May she stay that way. Imagine if she brings her kittens along some day in the hope of more salmon? Your NY feast is pretty darn fancy! Sure are living the high life up there.. although it sounds like you’d better start learning how to make sake, Barbra.
These are some of the healthiest-looking foxes we’ve ever encountered – and extra fluffy in their winter coats. We sure would like to see her little ones this spring!
A beauty indeed!
