  1. What a lovely photo! My mother was always able to find wild strawberries wherever we lived in the US, including when I took her to Hawaii as an adult! I do remember picking them in France when I lived there as a child. They reminded me of perfume!

  2. Perhaps you should pick off several of the seeds from the berries and sow them around the landscape. Next year you might not have to walk as far to find a bounty of them.

    • Funny you should mention that, Bodrie. Once some of the raspberry and currant plants go dormant up here, we’re going to try transplanting them. Flooding today in Chignik Lake. Working on that post right now. Thanks for reading and commenting.
